UV – Vector Air In-Cabin Disinfection/ Sanitization Robotic System is equipped with UV-C lamps and is wheeled through an aircraft cabin by an operator, engaged at operating, controlling and monitoring the “Robotic Device” from a safe distance of 10 - 12 feet, at a pre-defined speed defined in the on-board device controllers with input from the operator to control level of dose. UV lights are mounted on two wings that extend over the seats of the aircraft and expose both the seats beneath the wings and the overhead compartment above them. Additional smaller UV lights are mounted on the body of the cart to expose the sides of the aisle, and near the crown of the cart to expose the overhead compartment doors. The lights turn on only when an operator send command using the highly customized software to turn on the UV-C lights. Before the lights are turned on the operator feed the software with basic aircraft details like registration number, parking stand etc. The operator controls the illumination of UV-C lights while standing at a safe distance and controlling the overall operations.
